Our data protection practice conforms to the provisions of the BDSG (German Federal Data Protection Act) and the TMG (German Telemedia Act). We will only gather, process and store your personal details for the processing of queries and, if applicable, the execution of orders/contracts. Only with your prior permission will your details be used for other purposes specified precisely in the permission granted, e.g. to provide information about offers via newsletter etc.

2. Anonymous / pseudonymous use of the website

You may generally visit our website without entering personal details. Pseudonymous usage data will not be matched with details of the party using the pseudonym. No pseudonymous user profiles will be created.

 

3. Special functions of the website

Our site offers you different functions, and during its use, personal data is gathered, processed and stored by us. We subsequently explain what happens with this data:

Contact form:

We will only use the data collected via our contact form for the processing of queries that result from the contact form. After processing the queries, the data is deleted immediately, if there are no statutory retention periods.

Login area:

You will have the opportunity to use a separate login area on our website. If you forget your password or user name for this area, you will be able to have this information sent again by entering your contact details (email address) again beforehand. The user data provided while using the login area will only be gathered, stored and processed by us for the prevention of misuse and fault elimination. The data will not be used for other purposes or passed on to third parties. The data that is gathered for the function in the event of forgotten user names or passwords will only be used to resend forgotten access data.

Newsletter:

The data collected in the registration mask of our newsletter will only be used by us to send our newsletter, with which we provide information about all our services. We will send you a confirmation email after the registration, which will contain a link you must click on to complete the registration for our newsletter (double opt-in). You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time by clicking on the unsubscription link. Your details will be deleted by us within six months of the unsubscription. In the event of an incomplete registration, your details will also be deleted by us within six months.

 

4. Automatic identity and creditworthiness verification when selecting payment types “PayPal”, “direct debit via PayPal”, “credit card via PayPal” or “PayPal invoice”:

If you have selected payment type “PayPal”, “direct debit via PayPal”, “credit card via PayPal” or “PayPal invoice”, we will pass on the data collected during the order, for payment processing, to PayPal (Europe) S.à r.l. et Cie, S.C.A., 22-24 Boulevard Royal, L-2449 Luxembourg (hereinafter referred to as "PayPal"). PayPal will carry out a credit check when you select one of the subsequently listed payment methods: “credit card via PayPal”, “direct debit via PayPal” or “PayPal invoice”. In doing so, mathematical and statistical processes are used to calculate a rating regarding the probability of a payment default (co-called calculation of the scoring value). PayPal will take the calculated scoring value as a basis for its decision on whether to provide the respective payment method. The calculation of a so-called scoring value is carried out using recognised scientific processes. 5. Passing on data / identifying purposes

We will only pass on personal details to third parties if this is necessary for the fulfilment of our contractual obligations, in particular the execution of a concluded contract. Personal details are not passed on to third parties outside of the named purposes of contract execution and payment processing.

If you provide us with personal details within the framework of express permission, this data will only be used for the purposes that underlie the permission granted and to which you have consented beforehand. We will only store your personal details for as long as this is necessary for the intended purpose of the data acquisition or legally required. You can withdraw your consent at any time. 

Your interests worth protecting will be considered in accordance with the statutory provisions. You can obtain information about said stored information from the responsible body.

 

6. Statistical analysis of visits to this website

We gather, process and store the following information when this website or individual files from the website are accessed: IP address, website from which the file was accessed, name of the file, and date and time of access, amount of data transferred and a report on the success of the access (so-called web log). If you have scripts activated in your browser and have no script blocker installed, your browser will pass on personal details to Facebook without asking specifically. When logged in, direct attribution of the data to your Facebook profile is possible. We are not aware which data Facebook connects with the personal details it obtains and for which purposes Facebook uses this information.
